Theatre Of Hearts/Youth First COOL ART Lend/Lease Program
Our COOL ART Lend/Lease Program features high-quality artworks created in Theatre Of Hearts/Youth First Artist-In-Residence workshops by youth in Los Angeles County schools, community centers, juvenile halls, and probation camps: over 86,000 talented youngsters, aged 4-18, from underserved communities over the last 24 years.
Theatre Of Hearts/Youth First is now offering YOU the opportunity to brighten up your office, organization, home or set with some fantastic framed art — all for the price of a suggested 100% tax-deductible donation.

Theatre Of Hearts/Youth First has used arts education workshops led by professional artists to act as a catalyst for change in the lives of L.A. County youth. For many, it is the first chance to experience the transforming power of art and to create something of worth. The dramatic results can be seen in our vast collection, which we now offer to you.
With the COOL ART Lending Program, as a thank-you for your tax deductible donation, you can create your own mini-gallery. Choose from hundreds of professionally mounted oil and acrylic paintings, ceramic sculptures, mixed media, and drawings to create an eye-catching impression that best complements your business.
We can offer creative direction on pieces that best suit the atmosphere and décor of your lobby, corridor, conference room, or office space. We will provide free installation.
Larry Kosmont, Managing Partner of Kosmont Companies and Renaissance Community Fund, talked about his company’s participation in the COOL ART Lend/Lease Program:

COOL ART Exhibits provide an exciting introduction into the professional art community for our young artists, who receive positive recognition for their accomplishments thereby bolstering their self-esteem. These events bring together diverse community members and foster support for arts education for youth, and can generate buzz and good press in the surrounding community for your business or service at the same time.
Successful COOL ART exhibits have been held at Los Angeles venues such as Fox Studios, The Brewery Arts Colony; the Egyptian Theatre; the Consulate General of Mexico and the Consulate of the Czech Republic; the House of Blues; the Skirball Cultural Center; and the Armand Hammer Museum of Art and Cultural Center.
Donations made to Theatre of Hearts/Youth First for hosting an exhibit are deductible to the extent allowed by law, and go to support all our arts education programs for at-risk youth.
